Great Dolphin Fishing

May and June will bring the best dolphin fishing

This past week was a mixed bag as far as the fishing goes-early in the week we were seeing a nice catch of dolphin(mahi-mahi),wahoo, and Tuna on the offshore humps. Also for those wanting to sailfish we are still seeing a number of flags flying,the sailfish bite has been extremely good late in the season. On the reefs and wrecks we are catching large grouper and mutton snapper. When conditions are right the yellowtail bite is also very good and will improve as we get closer to summer patterns. The coming months of May and June will bring the large bull and cow dolphin thru the upper keys-if you want to catch the large ones this is the time of year-dolphin in the 35lb plus range are plentiful.
